Cassie (Black-Capped Caique)

Cassie was hatched in 1990 in Florida. She was originally trained by Tani Robar, and performed in her nationally traveling shows for over 20 years!  When it comes to props, Cassie is our resident expert. Her long behavior chains of playing baseball is unique to Parrot Ambassadors that was trained by Tani so many years ago!  She loves to show people all the sports we encourage people to play through our parrots like soccer, baseball, basketball.  Learn the ultimate sport of parrots!  Can you guess it?

chloe-1

Chloe (Blue Crowned Conure)

Chloe was hatched in 2002 in Washington. She belonged to a close friend, Jenni, who trained Chloe to be one of our premier athletes in flying! She flew with Jenni for over 12 years around Green Lake every day, avoiding predators and more.  When she joined Parrot Ambassadors in 2015, it took her a year to learn how to interact for shows. An extremely intelligent and willing learner, watch as Chloe learns from Cassie and others not only to fly on on your head, talk on cue, but perform the behaviors Cassie has been doing for years!

sunny

Sunny (Solomon Island Eclectus)

Hatched in 2009 in Pennsylvania.  Sunny joined Parrot Ambassadors in 2016 when his parents felt he would receive more attention with another family.  He has a long history of separation anxiety that we still work with daily from training to light therapy to medications.  He strongly prefers to be with Debbie anywhere she goes.  He is willing to learn just about anything. Sunny is extremely patient and kind, and one of the only Parrot Ambassadors people can touch.

echo

Echo (Congo African Grey)

Echo was hatched in 1995 in Oregon and joined Parrot Ambassadors in 2013. Echo was given to Debbie by her good friend, Jackie, who said how much Echo likes to join audiences as part of a pirate show. Her signature move is Toss the Parrot.  Being now a CITES 1 critically endangered parrot, Echo brings the message of helping parrots globally all the while being able to experience holding this incredibly intelligent species.
